Looking for a way to make a Bookmark of a page to go to it again.
OK...I found in the top left of page File, edit.View,History ..BOOKMARKS . Then some tutorials. I will take a look and see if I can make and save some and view them again. Have to work on this tomorrow. Looks promising.

2 Easy ways to create a book mark:
    1. When you are at the page, hold down the control key and press D
You'll get a popup asking where you want to create the bookmark. (Mine defaults to Other bookmarks)Don't pick Toolbar and you'll be okay. Click done when finished.
    2. Click on the star at the end of the address bar. You'll get a popup asking where you want the bookmark; again my default is Other bookmarks.

After you have a few dozen bookmarks and the list is getting cumbersome, you'll create folders to move bookmarks into.

Yes....I was in my beginner's ignorance pressing Toolbar and stringing them out. Using Other Bookmarks now. When I click on Bookmarks in the File-Help bar at top left then click Show All Bookmarks I can see them.

You should also be able to see them when you click Other Bookmarks. They'll be in a list rather than in a 2 pane window.

If I went back to previous version of firefox would drag & drop and shortcut still work? Evidently it is the newer version 68.0.1 that prvents this. Even though I can make bookmarks it still is convenient to drag & drop. If so, how do I go back?

I thought it might be safer and easier to simpply download and install Google Chrome browser. I did this and found it will allow drag&drop to make desktop shortcut.
