Can a single program kill the network connection in Vista?

    Noticed that when I lose connectivity on my computer at home(Vista Home Premium), I'm running MusicMatch 10. After 20 minutes to an hour it's fine, then the blue globe disappears from the network icon in the status bar. Then a minute later it's the yellow warning. Means I have to reboot to connect.

    How can MusicMatch 10 do this?
