I often get the error "BSvcProcessor Error". My options are to either check online for a solution or close the program. When I click "check online" nothing happens. So I do not know what the error is or how to fix it. Any ideas? Thanks. (See attachment)

Hi, do you have Bing bar, or anything Bing related installed, if so uninstall it and see if the error goes away.

I believe Gus is pointing you in the right direction with his suggestion to remove the Bing bar from your computer. Please do as he's suggested.

In addition to the above, I would also suggest removing any and all other programs that are designed to optimise or change your system. Along with the Bing bar, this can be done by going to the control panel and selecting "Programs and Features" from the icons view.... or "Uninstall a Program" from the category view.

Right clicking on an entry in "Uninstall a Program" will give you the option of uninstalling that program.

If you are unsure about which programs to uninstall, please take a screen grab (or two) of your listed programs and post them here in this thread. We will then advise you on which programs can safely be got rid of.

After uninstalling the programs restart your computer.

I agree, after removing anything Bing related, which probably will fix it, then if necessary the next step is to remove any so called optimization apps:D

Attached is what you requested. Again, I searched my browsers and found no Bing Bar.

Thank you Dave for the screen grab.

I see that you have Revo Uninstaller installed on your computer. This is a good program and one I used myself for many years. However, both myself and one or two other staff members here now use "Wise Uninstaller" and have found it to be very good at what it does. You may want to consider giving it a try. Especially if you run a 64 Bit system. (Revo (Free Edition) doesn't play well with 64 Bit systems)

If you do decide to install Wise Uninstaller, then I would strongly suggest you use it to get rid of the following... Failing that, you can use the directions from my first post, or use Revo.

    1) PowerCryptor Free Edition

    2) I would also suggest getting rid of your Clock Screen Saver.

Please post again to let us know how you get on.

I saw on page two of Frank's link, the user didn't have Bing installed, but it showed up in msconfig. Might want to check that Dave.
I wouldn't delete the files. Just turn it off using MSCONFIG.

Thanks to all for the info. I ran MSCONFIG but I did not see anything related to bing so I made no changes. I have no problem deleting the clock screen saver but I do need and use my cryptor. If there is a safer app for a Power Cryptor like app, I would like to know about it.
I will also try the "Wise Uninstaller" instead of Revo.
    Thanks

I uninstalled the Clock Screen Saver and Revo Uninstaller. I had no problem until yesterday. I got the same error. Any ideas?

Hi Dave, have you tried typing BSvcProcessor.exe in the Start search programs and files window?

Hi Dave. Adding to Bills advice, I would do a search with the program called "Everything" and delete off the registry everything Bing related.
Once installed, put "Bing" in the search box and anything it finds, highlight and delete.
Download correct .exe file to suit your OS.

I did that but the only thing that showed up was the attachment I sent to CHF from the desk top.

Ok Dougie, I downloaded and ran that program and it found at least a dozen Bing related objects. I have deleted them all so will just wait and see if the error returns. Thanks for your help.
