Yeah.. I'm gonna brag... this is a video of my oldest daughter and one of her best friends singing "The Prayer" at their high school variety show. It made me tear up a bit to hear them sing together... what can I say... I'm a proud mom :)

It is remarkable how they grow. What a beautiful and mature voice, Bonnie. Now if only the cameraman/woman could get the lighting next time maybe we can even see her beauty not just hear it. :snckr:

    I reduced the size, Bonnie.

    Hope you don't mind.

She is very pretty. Takes after her Mother. :)

Thanks.. I appreciate it... I didn;t even think about the size as I work with large photos all the time that it's second nature.

A very good looking lady, makes me wish I was young again :D

Next is the singing, she has a very good range and mature too, OK one or two miss pitches but not bad. Does she take any singing lessons? If not why not? she has a voice worth taking to the next level.

Thanks Nev :) She's involved in all the choirs at high school... but that's as far as it goes for "lessons." She does have a voice that she could take to the next level, but her interest for college in the fall will be archaeology. She wants to be an archeologist... with a back up plan of museum curator or history teacher. She's also quite gifted academically too. The majority of her classes are two levels above your average "honors" classes. She's quite the young lady... pretty.. smart... and has a kind and loving heart. Yes.. I'm a bragging mom... but so what. I'm blessed with wonderful kids :) Of course Katie isn't a kid anymore... she'll be 18 at the end of the month.

    Thanks Goku and Mara :)

Well... she has officially graduated high school. The ceremony was yesterday. Almost 400 kids in the senior class. She looked so pretty... so grown up.... so ready for the next chapter of her life. In 8 days she'll be 18. Wow!

Shame we can't present them with a list of all the mistakes and consequences we have made, and hope they will have the sense not to do the same :)

But at least we have been there, and got back from there, and so are qualified to advise them when they end up there lol
