Booting problem on HP dc7900 USFF

    Yeah every bios is different but the ones that say "U" for Up and "D" for down I always screw up on. The majority you use "+" and "-" it seems to me to change settings.

    Thanks for the support guys but it still did not work after all, it only worked the first couple of times after setting the boot order in the BIOS, now it's back to same deal, only thing out of the norm I am noticing now is that when I use f9 to change the boot order every time I start the pc, it always reverts back to the cd-rom as first boot.

    Short of replacing both boards I am out of ideas sorry to say but I think that is all you will be able to do here and I doubt that buying 2 boards will be reasonable or easy also.
    I know what HP would ask for them and you could buy 2 new systems with greater attributes fort that price I'm afraid.
