When you say you swapped out the HDD, what exactly did you do?

    Hi again

Unscrew the m/board and remove the stand-offs.
Sit the motherboard on a piece of card newspaper to insulate it from the case.

    Give it a try now.

Hi Dean. Presume you have installed the chipset Drivers.
You may have a dud ram stick.
Try booting with each stick one at a time.

I think you need to download the user manual and find the correct method to populate the Ram slots on this motherboard.
Quite often when you populate all slots and haven't the fastest speed ram to mobo will accept, then the computer won't boot.
What is the speed of the ram you are using and what is the fastest the mobo will accept.
Use 3 slots, and not 4 and see if it boots correctly.

EDIT.I have 3x4 GIG sticks DDR3 in 3 slots with no issues.

The specs for the RAM for that board are DDR3 800 / 1066
    What do you have ?
