    That's so very true!! And if one is traveling, it's best to not let 'long lost relatives' know you'll be in their Country - huge gentle laugh! - or surely the sweet people will think one dotty to keep stopping and staring at old buildings and darn near everything else!)

    Bob's ships - I would have loved to see them! And so much else! In fact, I spent a month there and literally could have spent a life-time in Britain and still not seen everything I wanted to see.

    Part of the Great Cabin which was Lord Nelson’s quarter whilst he was onboard HMS Victory.
    Unfortunately this is all I could photograph as the nest of the cabin is covered with canvas for maintenance

    Good grief - people actually buy these! No windows - eek - and if I bought a piece of 'property' on the beach, I'd then expect people to not intrude on 'my' property line between it and the water ... yup, alas - these things simply wouldn't work for me! :):)
