    Tomorrow the magical 3D 'glasses' are supposed to be in, ready for pick0up - yipee! Can hardly wait to see the images the way they are intended to be viewed. :)

    Imagine those ropes skidding through a seaman's hands!! The weight of them alone must be back-breaking.

    Oh darn, I'm so sad. When the 3D glasses were picked up this afternoon, the very nice man explained that "they may not work". Apparently because of new movies in 3D are made a "different way now", "the colour of the lenses are different now, as well".

    Huge drat because even though we brought them home in the great hopes that somehow they just might work anyway in spite of the right lens being bright pink and the left green, and of course they don't. Will phone around again and see if someone else can order in the proper coloured ones.

    Wahoooo! Now have the right 3D glasses and incredible, Rob - simply incredible!!! Wow!!

    My grandson is sitting here beside me oohing and aahing too - and would like me to ask if taking 3D photos involves a special lens for a camera or if it's done another way.

    No special lens needed to take the photos the way I have been taught I am happy to pass on more info if you would like or better still you could have a go yourself I started off using a single camera I now use 2 cameras at the same time but there is a reason for that again will explain

    He loves taking photos (thankfully none of his own feet so there's hope for him yet! :)) and, in fact, that was his wish for his Birthday - a camera of his very own. He'll be so excited to learn some of your secrets and both he and I keep looking at all the magic you've created!

    Wahoo!! I love to see what all of us look like! And I should share that the first thing the grandchildren do when they arrive is ask for the "magic 3D glasses" and to view all your photos, Bob.

    (Do realize it's the 'norm' when using computers that people communicate with nicknames only, etc but being able to put a face to a name makes things so much nicer!).

    Wow, this is right up there with one of my favourites!

    Imagine these on a cart with a pair of horses ... bumpidy bumpidy all the way to where you're going and all the way back again. But for me, the magic lies in the actual creation of each wheel by hand - a long lost skill for most.
