    Hey guys!
    I am in serious need of help, I have had my Fujitsu Lifebook A series (AH531) now for only a few months
    and it has served my very well, the other day i went to turn my laptop on I was confronted with the dreaded
    blue screen of death, of which im very aware of. The screen in full reads as follows:

    "STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Errror}
    The verfication of a KnownDLL failed. system process terminated unexpectedly wi
    th a status of 0xc0000020 (0x00d1bcc0 0x00000000).
    The system has been shut down."

    I have tried startup repair, memory diagnostics, system restore, recovering system image, and booting a windows 7 install disc from DVD drive (which would not boot, an am unsure why)

    There is lots of important data on the laptop and I need it to work on anyway, so I need to know if anyone knows how to fix this?
    Note: It will not boot in safe mode.
    Any help will be hugely appreciated.Thanks

    If you have only had the computer for a few months, it should still be under warranty.
    I mention that in case it turns out to be a hardware failure which at the moment is something I suspect.
    Be careful in attempting recovery options as a full recovery will send it back to factory conditions, therefore wiping all data from the drive.
    As for booting from a windows disk, Which disk is it that you have?
    if it is a legal full copy of Windows 7, it can be used to try for a system repair, but only if it is a full copy, not OEM or just a plain recovery disk.
    Let us know what it says on the disk and we can take it further from there.

    Edit to add, after a search of Microsoft's data base, I found this which seems to carry all the marks of your problem, the article or answer to another user contains some fixes which may work for you.
