    Hello,

I just registered this forum while surfing and I’m curious about what you think about Bing.
According to some news it already started to overtake Yahoo. But it seems to me they can’t beat Google. I think more creative ideas and some vision is needed to overtake Google.

Besides of that there’s adsense and adword industry. Google is creative and established firm, Bing brings nothing new to us.

If Google creates linux based operating system, maybe they can overtake Microsoft?

First, Welcome to Computer Help Forums!! :) We hope you find your time here useful.

As for Bing, it is just to early to tell. Google has become so ingrained in, nopt only our usage but our language that it seems hard to believe that anything is going to usurp its place on the top of the heap.

What we need to see is what, if any, new innovations come along with Bing.

    Hi OKahara

like Beeceebee says, to early to tell but I was reading that Microsoft are going to invest £75 million into advertising Bing compared to Google £25 million, and that Googles is unconcerned, it also mentioned that Microsoft with the addition of Bing still only has 11% of the market.

but I think for now its a case of wait and see, and I can't see Google moving into Operating Systems as thats a totally different kettle of fish, But who knows you may have read or heard something I haven't, if so please tell ;)

thanks for answers. Nope, I havent heard anything about new OS, but it's reasonable. If I were in charge of google, I would think creating one. :)

Well they've done search engines, browsers, toolbars, phones, maps, shopping, email.

The only thing left really is an OS! so lets hope ;)

So it would appear however as the article states no one nows why and what for, and how much time or money is being put into it, let alone what they plan to do with it?

But with what I have read about what people think of Windows 7, if I had the money I think now would be the time to be standing on the sidelines ready with an alternative to windows 7, as it seems to be a love it or hate it OS.
