Bing gets Bitcoin converter

Bing is making it easy to find the going conversion rate for Bitcoin. As of today, Bing users in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and India will be able to calculate Bitcoin conversions straight through its search field, just like they would when converting between any other currencies. Bing is partnering with Coinbase to make the integration happen, using Coinbase's Bitcoin-pricing metrics to determine its current value. Though Bitcoin conversion is a small and niche feature for Bing, the search engine's newest addition is a big victory for Bitcoin enthusiasts in their quest to see the currency legitimized. Bing is only offering the feature in five markets for now, but it expects to roll it out elsewhere in the near future.
