Im looking to have the screen resolution of my desktop change to 800x600 when a certain program is launched, and then return to the regular 1360X768 after the program is closed.

Is there a program or a macro or Command line out there that can be used to achieve this?

Isn't that a program that is supposed to do exactly what you are asking? Maybe I'm reading it wrong.

Skyrim has an option to play in Windows Mode under options. It also allows you to set the resolution for the window. That should resolve your issue quickly and simply. Let us know how you make out.

oh no, see i've set the Resolution of the game in windowed mode already.

Thing is, every time i launch skyrim, i have to go to my screen resolution and change it to 800X600 so that everything fits properly.

im using the windowless border modification with the Custom.bat
