DETROIT – Jack Kevorkian, the audacious, fearless doctor who spurred on the national right-to-die debate with a homemade suicide machine that helped end the lives of dozens of ailing people, died Friday at a Detroit-area hospital after a brief illness. He was 83.

"Somebody has to do something for suffering humanity," Kevorkian once said. "I put myself in my patients' place. This is something I would want."

    My thoughts

I watched this man on a video and got a very different opinion of him. HE has seen much death and pain, and I feel he is doing it out of the goodness of his heart. I myself have seen where the patient wants to die and and the plug is pulled, and also know they do not feed or give the patient water and to me this is despicable, where as this doctor does it GENTLY , no pain, and the most miraculous thing , as this man says , receives no pay.

I have A FAMILY of doctors , my Son , four Uncles, and many cousins, other relatives that are in this field, and I would not want any of them to do this, but believe me if someone was in torture, I may be tempted to do this myself. We just have to be in this situation.

I certainly do have a different outlook on this Physician now.

    Love
