This is very nice and the girl's voice is lovely just like the scenery. Hope you enjoy. I am not Irish, my background is English and Scottish. I have been to Ireland twice with the navy and it is a beautiful country. PS: I think she is singing in Gaelic.

Thanks Match, a close mate of mine sent me this, so I thought I would share it with the members. My ship visited Northern Ireland and Dublin. Very nice country indeed and I love Irish music as well. You don't get much shore leave, in the navy, but, I spent 4 days in Belfast and 4 days in Dublin. ;)

My cousin's in the Royal Navy, he says he gets to go there and see it, but never has the time to visit. although I think he can work it so that he can stay in port, or a country on leave but then has to get a flight to the ships next port of call, or take leave if the ships going to be in port long enough, but that means he has no leave when the ship get's back to the UK, not totally sure of the facts or ins and out's of the details as since he joined the Navy I have only seen him a couple of times at Family gatherings over the past 23 years.

The Canadian Navy is the same and our navy is and was based on the Royal Navy system because we were colonized by the UK. You don't get much shore leave and when you do, the time is precious. I was a weapons technologist aboard ship, Petty Officer class 2 and I didn't get a lot of shore leave. I took advantage of all the leave I had and I have seen wonderful places all over the world. My most fave ports of call were Finland and Sweden and Greece. ;)

Beautiful singing and brilliant photography. Thanks for that. Personally however, I can't go along with the god references.

Thanks andsome and I agree the religious part was a bit much, but I think the photography and singing make up for that bit. The girl has a lovely voice. I am not a real religious person, I have my own beliefs and keep it private and to myself.
