    Hi Bob,

Chrome is still in Beta on Android for now, but I'm using it fine on my phone with no problems, I'd say it's more a release candidate than beta, it shouldn't be too long till the Beta tag is removed anyway.

Here is a direct download link for Chrome on the now renamed Google Play store - https://play.google....2lkLmNocm9tZSJd

Hi Bob, it sounds like you are on the web page for Google Play if you haven't already navigate to it on your tablet and try downloading on there

You could be looking at the wrong download as there seem to be a lot of network specific ones, this one shows as compatible on my phone where as others don't so maybe try downloading this - https://play.google....wZS5yYWlkZXIiXQ

Only other thing you could do is download the .apk (install file) onto your computer then transfer it to your tablet and try installing then as you would be circumventing the compatibility block but we'll leave that for now and try the other two possible solutions above.

I remember when my parents actually had a phone installed in the house, not that it got used much at first because we didn't know anyone else with a home phone, communication technology has sure progressed a long way since then, for a machine to know where it is on the planet to within a couple of meters is truly amazing, and a computer that could beat me at chess, that was a laughable Idea at one time, and books, lol I used to make them, been so long since I picked one up I wouldn't be able to find the next button to turn the page, lol

Just makes you wonder what the children of today will be amazed at in 60/70 years time.

    Hi Bob,

Sounds like you enjoyed your game of Angry Birds :snckr: :p

As for a photo editor, I can't suggest any personally as I don't use photo editors at all, which probably sounds odd for someone so into technology like myself but photo/video editing is about the only thing I'm not bothered about with computers, just never been that creative really where as my brother is the exact opposite, likes his photo and video editing but wouldn't be able to fathom his way around maintaining a computer etworking to others or quite a few other things to do with technology (though he still does outsmart my parents :p).

I had a quick search and these seem to be popular all with over 1million downloads and the Adobe and Picsay ones with between 10-50million, best I could suggest is a bit of trial and error to see what tickles your fancy.

    Adobe - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.adobe.psmobile&feature=search_result

    Picsay - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shinycore.picsayfree&feature=search_result

    PicsArt - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.picsart.studio&feature=search_result

    BeFunky - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=air.com.befunky.BeFunkyPhotoEditor&feature=search_result

As for technological advances, the Sat Nav accuracy will soon be better with GLONASS already active and support being built into smartphones and Galileo starting to be deployed now.
So instead of 10's of metres we'll be looking at single digits if not within 1 metre of your location.
