    Hello,

In my family everyone knows my laptop password, so they can access my stuff through the network which I like, because it makes it easier to share stuff with each other, but there are some folders I would like to keep password protected or hidden so no one can access it except for me.
I've tried the Jzip program and made certain folders password protected but when other computers go through the network the password isn't prompted and they can still view it. I have also tried going to the network and clicking 'Nobody' for the sharing options for my account so they can only view the public folder but that obviously didn't work either. If it's just easier to make my laptop completely invisible like how my brother made it so when I click his computer name it says I have no permission, how do I do that? Thanks
