I have just used Robocopy to copy all of our shares to a new server..
I used the /copy:datsou switch to copy the permissions along with the
data.. All of the folders and subfolders have different permissions.
Some inherit some do not.. But all the folders should have the local
administrators group in there with modify rights.. All of the folders
are missing the local administrators group in the security tab. Is
there a way to add this group to all the folders, subfolders and files
without changing any other permissions? Even if the subfolders do not
    inherit.

  2. Post here instead: microsoft.public.windows.server.security
