Would you please do the same for me Dougie or just post it here as what I found leads me to Softpedia, a site I will not use talking about an Install Manager, something else I won't use.

Thanks Cindy that was exactly what I was looking for, just the download. These damn 3rd party download sites lately are worse than most virus.

Many many ads contain malicious hidden content and Hostsman works behind the scenes. You don't even know you have it installed.
It does everything for you. Updates itself. No user inter action.
I think it's a good bit of kit.

Thanks DSTM but I'm curious about this instruction
    1. At the end of the install - UNCHECK 'Launch'.
Why wouldn't you run the application after downloading it?

Hi Tony. I just got in touch with "Grumpy" the owner of that website and he said to do it exactly as he said.
You need to run as admin and set the changes before it runs. Then after checking for updates and setting automatic updates you click on the Hostsman icon in the task bar and that sets it running. Then you never have to touch anything again as it automatically starts and runs in the background. If ever for any reason you want to disable click on the green "H" icon on your desktop and disable. The Green :H" icon will turn red.I have never any need to disable mine for any reason.

    Instructions.

When installing - let it put an icon on the desktop. UNCHECK 'Launch'.
Right Click on the Icon and Click on 'Run as Administrator' and close that window.
Then click on 'Manage sources'. Select only the one 'Source' as MVPS
Check for updates - and enable automatic updates.
Click on Icon in TaskBar and enable run then forget.

I haven't had a chance to try this yet but I'm going to, definitely.
Thanks for the explicit instructions, Dougie!

I have downloaded and for now stored the zip file. However I have been and still do run the AddBlock Plus with no problems as yet, so before installing Hostman, is there any chance of a conflict with the ABP Dougie? I would like to keep that if possible then I would have two lines of defence.

    Nev.

Hi Nev. No interference with any adblocker. I forgot I installed Hostsman about 6 months ago (HalfHeimers) LOL and still run AdBlock Plus and also run AdMuncher as well. No issues at all.

Thanks Dougie, I will install it later this evening then, a bit busy elsewhere at the moment and just taking a break from it.

I'm going to try and install it later on too.
Right now I have both babies, they'll be here until 4 o'clock.

Just as I expected. If you don't allow adds you can't watch content.
The times are changing by force.

    This is just wonderful.
I've seen a few sites that you have to disable your adblockers in order to view them.
I have also seen many sites that recognize that you have one installed.
They ask you to please disable it as it's an ad supported site.
