Access Based Enumeration on Xeon ?

Discussion in 'Windows Home Server' started by Silenus paparias, Oct 14, 2009.

  1. Hello.

I have already tried the two programs for microsoft web Site:

    WINDOWS SERVER 2003 ACCESS-BASED ENUMERATION/AMD64/ABEUI.msi
    WINDOWS SERVER 2003 ACCESS-BASED ENUMERATION/IA64/ABEUI.msi

The first one wont install on the Server....after a few setup screen
comes with the msg :path not found etc...

The second one comes with the msg : Processor type not correct for the
    software.

    We have a windows 2003R2, x64 Bit, Sp2 .
Server is a Dell PE840 with Intel Xeon X3210 processor.

    Has someone a idea?

    Thanks.

Interesting the AMD64 didn't work for x64, as the download instructions
    indicated at:

The IA64 won't work, because that is a different processor.

Basically the AMD64 is generic for x64. Are you installing this directly or
    through an RDP session?
