About images etching onto monitor screen ...

It worked, it worked!!!

All those little 'boxes' scattered across the screen have completely vanished! Only the white horizontal line (that honestly does exist) remains - but it doesn't matter simply because it's along the top of the monitor and won't interfere with my work.

Thank you, thank you to all who helped me with this pesky problem and especially to Dalo for the actual rescue! How wonderful all of you are!
