A sample of the very best music in the world, by the worlds finest composer. This extract is from the Proms in the Royal Albert Hall. A few weeks prior to this performance, I was lucky enough to attend the identical concert in The Symphony Hall in Birmingham England. The orchestra was one of the finest in the world, 'The National Youth Orchestra of Gt Britain'.

Isn't it incredible what hands, lungs and mouths can create - and of course, magical beautiful minds that can conceive and compose beauty like this!! A beautiful rendering of Gustav Mahler's talent!

It was magic on the screen and I can't begin to imagine the sheer beautiful of it in person - wow!

There were well over 600 performers for that concert.

A great piece of music andsom, and intrigued a little about the man, did a bit of a look up as although having heard other pieces of his music, knew very little about him.
    I found this-

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gustav_Mahler

Considering he was influenced by Wagner, no wonder he became the musician he was.

Well worth the read of that Wikipedia page about him.
