    Nice story, redwing.
     
    Jail inmates here train dogs for the severly disabled. They even breed them.
    Amazing what they can be trained to do.
    It is also good for the inmates as it gives them a worthwhile purpose which they like doing.

    When I originally read this I thought you meant the inmates being trained to train the dogs :)

    I think they would have to give the guys some training on how to train the dogs Match:)
     
    DTSM I have seen some television shows about  similar programs that they have in the USA for prisoners...it's good for the dogs and for the men.  I think there was something similar for horses as well.
     
    I once had a dog that would alert us if the phone was ringing inside the house if we were working outside and could not hear it.   (in the days before portable phones and cellphones)   :lol:

    I have been trying to train Mokey to just let me sleep in the morning. I am sure she gets it but just doesn't care to oblige. :)
