32 and 64 bits servers?

Discussion in 'Windows Home Server' started by André van der Hoeven, Oct 14, 2009.

  1. Is it possible to add an 64 bit server to a existing domain with Windows
    2003 R2 32bits servers (as a terminal server)

Do I need new Terminal server licenses when I replace a 32bit terminal
server whit a 64 bits server?

Can I use 64 bits and 32 bits servers in 1 domain as domain controllers (no
    terminal server)

    Thanks

  2. Hello André van der Hoeven,

Yes, they will co-exist without any problem.

No, TS CAL doesn't belong to the OS architecture. As long as you stay with
2003 OS versions it should be fine.

Yes, you can also use them as co-existing DCs.

    Best regards
