2008 TS Session Broker Role on a DC?

Hi,

I have two 2008 TS machines in a load balance configuration with a session
broker. Because of a time constraint the session broker was first installed
on the 1st terminal server (I know this isn't BP). Anyway, now I have time
and was wondering how best to re-due the session broker. I was thinking of
installing the session broker role on a seperate new Server 2008 DC machine.
Are there any disadvantages to having this role on a DC? What type of load
will this role have on the server? I have 75 users and 2 2008 TS servers.

Hi!

Thsi is not supported setup/configuration for a deployment using Session
Broker. Is there any reason on why you would prefer to have SB on same box as
the DC?

Thanks for the reply. I only have three server 2008 machines. 2 TS servers
and 1 DC. The Session Broker can only be installed on a 2008 server correct?
Also it probably doesn't make sense to install Session Broker on one of the
Terminal Machines so that is why I'm looking to install it on a DC. I beleive
I read in the MS white paper somewhere that if the Session Broker is
installed on a DC than the TS machines will need to be added to a domain
group Session Directory Computers rather than a local group since there are
no local groups on a DC.
