    Hello. I joined a Win 2008 R2 Enterprise x64 server to our 2003 standard x32
    domain. everything is ok.

In GPO (domain not local) 2008 has a lot new policies, which don't appear in
2003 gpo console. gpo's don't replicate between dc's or there is something i
    have to do?

    Thanks

  2. Hello Peter,

To configure GPOs for the 2008 server install GPMC from the add features
menu on the 2008 server and configure the GPO for 2008/vista machines from
    the 2008 server.

    Best regards

Hello Meinolf. You mean that i can configoure 2008's gpo's only from 2008
dc? the policies available in 2008 will not appear in 2003's gpo console?

    Regards, Peter

  4. Hello Peter,

Yes. That's the case because 2008/Vista use .admx files instead .adm which
can only be read by 2003 and lower.

    Best regards
