youtube & vista

Discussion in 'Windows Vista' started by keepout@yahoo.com.invalid, Aug 16, 2009.

  1. Is it something at youtube causing this ?
I can play a video if I have several hours to wait for it. It plays less than a
second, then goes back to download another less than a second., plays that &
repeats endlessly. This hasn't ALWAYS been the case.

How long HAS it been the case?

Do you have a System Restore point that will take things back to
    BEFORE it began?

here's the fix.. right click the video while it's playing. change the amount of
data allowed to be saved. 10 megs is more than enough. I found unlimited was
the exact opposite. It was EXTREMELY limited to 2k. less than a second.

Just one more of those 'machine changes it's own settings'. If you ask me AI
    will never replace intelligence.
