Hi I helped a senior in my village with this computer. It is a little pricy, but it might be some thing to check out if you have parents that would enjoy a full prof computer. Very easy to use and the company will maintain the computer for a minimum monthly price. If you have elderly parents and they are struggling with their computer, this might be a answer for you. It uses a Linux OS . It also comes with touch screen. It will read your emails out loud . It has some really nice features. I have heard some good things about it on the internet.
    Here's a video!!

If my Mom was still with us, I would have looked in to this.

It's not very powerful for the price but perfect for most elderly users.

Hi! I have talked to the company about Golden Oaks. They may give us one to put in the library for advertisements.
I like free. I have W7 there now, but this would be great for the seniors here. I pretty much have the W7 fool prof. I think!! I also have XP3, but just for games and no internet connection.

What a great idea that is!

When my Mom was still with us, she used WebTV.
She was on it until early 2013.

I think they finally did away with it in January of 2014.
She belonged to a lot of news groups, mostly political.

This looks like a very good idea with lots of user friendly features.
