    Hello all,

I just recently discovered another of win XP pro's*features*. A few weeks ago I installed a fresh copy of win XP in my new machine. Everything went smoothly I must say, the installer prompted me to set the password for the Administrator accout. So I started using it, I was the only user so no problems there.

Until a few days ago when I wanted to create another account. I had to create first another account with administrator rights, which I did, but to my surprise, at the welcome screen the Adminstrator account disappeared leaving me with only the new account! My images, music, firefox's bookmarks and everything are in the other Adminstrator account! how can I enter with this account at the welcome screen? Has enyone faced the same situation?

edit: got it, doing some registry work...

The other option is to ditch the silly welcome screen, and use the login dialog (I think the setting is called something like 'Use Ctrl+Alt+Del to login'). Not only is it theorectically more secure, but you no longer have issues with 'vanishing' accounts.
