Probably not ever. A very active group for Microsoft Expression Web
was moved to a Web-based forum last year by MS. It's still alive
(just barely) on Usenet, due to the number of groups propagating it,
but there is less activity as time goes by.

Web forums are just so "top heavy". I prefer Usenet and I post and read in
plain text. 'Hope Microsoft has the sense to create a set of Windows 7
    Newsgroups.

I asked this question in the Win 7 forum and got a response from an MS
employee that NNTP groups would indeed be offered at some point in the
    future.

  10. Microsoft doesn't care for a Win7 Newsgroup for now, perhaps due to it
simply not being on the market until November2009, or so.

For now only offer Web forums are offered - inferior to a real Usenet
Newsgroup, meant for people who use computers for playing and "coffee
    making".
I hope MS adds a real NG for professionals, as processing threads here is
more functional than retarded Web interface.

No kidding, eh? Web forums tend to be 'top heavy', IMHO, and loaded with
shakes, kisses, awards, huge sigs and every other piece of annoying cr^ap
they keep on dreaming up. lol

That's because most forum members are still in diapers, or individuals who
have never see the sun or the outside of their front door.

Friend points, two Wiggles and a Blessin'. Your Trust thermometer goes up 7
