So I'm having some problems, or rather, one problem. I recently learned that my C: drive is pushing the limits. It's got about 29 GB left on it. I'd like to start rerouting files to be installed and/or applied to my D: drive as well, as it is also external but has 300+ GB on it that is free to use. I am not very experienced with computers, only to the point where I know how to navigate the system to some degree and not to delete important files.

If anyone could help me with this little issue, that'd be great.

-- My reason for this is not only a lack of memory, but because I have a file which is approx. 38 GB that I'd like to install but cannot due to the lack of space on C: drive.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi Bhakal. Welcome to Computer Help Forums.
First if your external is showing under "My Computer" it is normally easy to transfer Files.
Find your Files on C Drive, highlight the files you wish to move and Right click Copy then go back to > Start > My Computer
Find your external listed > Highlight click open > Right click Paste.
If there are a number of files you wish to move at the same time, hold the "Shift" key down while highlighting the files.
