Windows keeps configuring updates everytime I shut down and reboot

I am using the Basic Vista Home edition, but every time I shut down and
reboot, I get the message "Windows is configuring 3 updates". Also my Admin
rights were taken away from my admin account and I had to use the hidden
default admin account to do any admin stuff. I have scanned my system with
Avast, Malware Bytes, Advanced Registry Fix, Advanced System Care, Tune Up
    Utilities, a-squared and others.

I have also done a SFC /scannow with a Command Prompt but I get the message
"There is a system repair pending, please restart your computer and run SFC
    again".?

I am pretty clued up with Vista but this one is baffling me. I have
temporarily stopped Windows from installing automatic updates to see if that
    would help, but it hasn't.

Has anyone else had this problem?
