I've had the same hardware for 3 years, never have had an issue. I got a new SSD and did a fresh windows install on it but now my computer wont recognize the network adapter and only the debug kernel shows up. I"ve tried a ton and a half of fixes, nothing. I'm yet to find someone else with the same issue as everyone has had it once before recently and only lost it with an update, my windows install now isn't even seeing it on the board for some reason after the fresh install. Please help, losing it here.

It should be showing up in your Device Manager. When you find it, to to Properties and look in the Details tab. In the drop down menu, select Hardware Ids. That will tell you the make and model of the network adapter. From there, you can search for the proper driver. Here's an example of what I'm referring to.

    Hi Russ and welcome,

While you're in the Device Manager, check to see what other devices need attention.

SOLVED: Turns out I'm a moron. Ready for this? I never actually installed the drivers FROM MSI FROM THE DISK THE BOARD CAME WITH. Its about 3 years old I half forgot it existed while in the process downloaed all their current drivers for said board from their site thinking I was ok, but no from disk from the beginning of a fresh install its always best to use the software and go from ;) *points to door* I'm going to head out that way, quickly, because thats the Moron's Exit. Thank you for your time one way or the other!

You know, if you don't do some things every day - it's easy to forget.

Good to see you have it resolved.
