    Hi There..

I have recently had a server failure at one of my branch offices. And i
would like to install a Windows 2008 Server into my already mixed windows
2003 domain, I also have 1 Windows 200 server dc within my network at another
    branch office.

    Will this be possible?

And if so what step's do i need to do to ensure a smooth transition?

    thanks
    Pete

  2. Hello Pete,

Prepare the schema for 2008 from the 2008 installation disk with adprep command.
Then you can promote a 2008 DC in the domain.
