Every time they make a new Windows the 32 Bit version and the 64 Bit version can see a Minimum and Maximum Memory.

Is there a way to know off Hand the 32 Bit version of Memory any Windows can see?

Like if you know the Maximum Memory the 64 Bit version can see can you just Divide that by 2. and this will tell you what the 32 Bit version can see?

32-bit Opertaing Systems have a 32-bit bus. It's a digital device - meaning each bit can have 2 states, a 1 or a 0. Take 2 bits and raise it to the 32nd power (2^32) and you come up with 4,294,967,296 which is ust about 4 GB. That's why 32-bit Operating Systems see the max of 4 GB RAM. The bus just isn't wide enought to see more.

I'll leave it to you to figure out how much RAM a 64-bit Operating System can see. (Hint 2^64).

Well WinXP 32 Bit Memory MAX will not be the same as Win2000 32 Memory Bit MAX.

    I do not get this?

    What's your reasoning on that?

Since you are probably not running Windows 2000 Advanced Server nor a Windows 2000 Datacenter Server, the max is 4GB.
