I have my own gmail account and my wife also has own. If I click gmail icon my account comes up. How do I go about signing in to my wife's account in gmail on my computer? Never recall doing this and now I do not seem to know how.

With your browser open and viewing your email, click on your account icon in the upper right.
    Go down to Add Account.
    Add your wife's account.

I use my computer off & on through the day so I set it to standby when close lid. My wife just shuts down when through. I wanted to be able to monitor her account for emails when hers is not on during the day. Hers IS listed as one of my accounts but I just had forgotten how to turn it off or on. My account is called W and hers is called C. Both are listed when I click the W icon under the 3 vertical dots. Should I ever click the "Sign out of all accounts" ever or just leave it alone. Unfamiliar with all this.
It shows her account, add account, and sign out of all accounts. Don't recall ever using these. Do not wish to play around and cause a problem. Thanks for the help. Any extra is welcomed.

I'd just leave it alone. If you sign out of all accounts you'll have to sign in again. It's a pain in the butt. You can have your account open. Then open a new tab and go to your email. Open her email account. Now you can switch back and forth between the two accounts.
