Forget it. I am sorry. I think I overreacted. I have several browsers installed but only one the default which is Google. I forget why I chose it. Maybe because Firefox was out of date. But I started Firefox and checked for updates and it said it was up tp date already. I think I was confused because none of my passwords and logins seemed to work with Firefox. Then I realized they were probably all for the Google browser and likely would not work with Firefox. Especially the ones I recently updated. So I just continued on with Google browser the default. Will deal with that later. I see your point. A dumb question I agree. Sorry.

Have always used Firefox.... it just suits my needs. ( loads of addons available to customise it )
I do have Google Chrome and Edge installed but can't remember the last time i used them.

    Wow very out of date.
Just click the 'Help' tab at the top of the browser ... then click 'About'.
    That'll run the update feature.

In February 2023, support for Chrome on Windows 7 stops. That means it will still work but you won't get security updates for it. It is risky running an unpatched OS (Windows 7) using an unpatched browser (chrome) on the internet unless you are very, very careful!

I suggest you get used to using Firefox again. It will continue to be patched on Windows 7 for months after Chrome patching ends.

I always liked Firefox and forget why I got started with Chrome. Think I will return to Firefox even if I have to update my logins. And thank you, Cindy, whether or not I agree- it makes me feel good.
