Where did my recycle bin go???

I was downloading something, and when I closed everything, my recycle bin was
gone, but everything else was still there. Is there a way that I can get it
back? Or get another one for my desktop?? Please help.

 

Right-click the empty Desktop>Personalise>Change Desktop Icons> tick recycle
bin> apply >OK

If it is still ticked when you get there>untick it>apply>OK
Then go back there retick it>apply>OK. .

Right-click on the Desktop, click Personalize, and in the left pane, click Change desktop icons. In the Desktop Icon Settings dialog, enable the Recycle Bin checkbox. Click OK. See also:

Well Heaven alone knows if I'll do this correctly, what with having to
follow proper etiquette and all !!

I just wanted to say *Thank You SO Much* to those who responded with
such simplicity. Honestly I am just a tad embarrassed now that I 'know'
that I didn't find my recycle bin, but I am ever SO grateful,
regardless.

One more time, hopefully no one is put out by my attempt at thanks, but
I'm so grateful I had to be sure it was said.
