Hi Does anyone know what's going on with Realtec. That's the manufacture I have for my sound.
I'm trying to click on Realtec in Google. Nome of the links open. They all spin and then time out.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
    Thanks!

Generally that means the website is down, under maintenance or something of that nature. Give it a while and check back. Or it's a browser issue. See if you can get it using IE11 or Chrome.

Hi Update! Every thing about realtec will not load. I know my PC is fine. I can go to every other site except realtec sites.
    This is very strange.
OK just read your reply bassfisher. I'll try later. The website must be under maintenance??
Up date. Same thing with IE

OK Thanks for the update everyone! What is a DDOS attack! Don't want to criticize, but these shortcuts that are often used don't mean a lot to a newbie. Like MBAM. How many users know that's Malwarebytes?? ;);):(
A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack occurs when multiple systems flood the bandwidth or resources of a targeted system, usually one or more web servers. Such an attack is often the result of multiple compromised systems (for example a botnet) flooding the targeted system with traffic.

This is not unusual Gary. I have the same thing with Asus website. It is almost always down whenever I need something. That's "Reason # 2" why I usually don't buy Asus products.

Hey Gary how you doing there. Realtek is a very common (the most common) solution for onboard sound used by motherboard manufacturers and computer OEM's. There's always workaround. Just install Speccy and tell me your Realtek solution and I will guide you to a site that will have your proper codec. Example if you have an HP, Emachine, Dell, or whatever you can also list the exact model number and the OEM site may have your driver, or we can find it on another motherboard manufacturers site. Example when Asus is slow you can use the MSI site, which is much better and always fast to get the same core drivers for any chipset (AMD- Intel) or sound solution.

Actually it just hit me reading IceMan's post you have a Toshiba laptop, the first place you should be looking for drivers is Toshiba site and you also know that I am sure. Can you tell us why you were trying to get to Realtek as IceMan suggested we can send you somewhere else.
Seems Realtek is still down but they are listed at everysingle 3rd party download site and I think you are safe at File Hippo and Major Geeks:
    https://www.google.com/search?q=Realtek&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8#q=realtek+at+filehippo

HI William! Thanks! Right at the moment, I'm not having any problem. You know the old sating"If it ain't broke. don't fix it"
I do have Speccy. I have a 4 going on 5 year old Toshiba lap top. Toshiba isn't very user friendly about finding drivers, but I can find all my drivers on their site.
    Go Long Horns!

Hi Realtec is still down. Can we say it's serious now or is this just a common thing that happens all the time??

Either the site is doing a complete overhaul/rebuild or there's something terribly wrong.

At this point I would say there is something up. If they were redoing the site there would be a card there hanging to say so.

That site is Realtek's driver update site in Taiwan (.tw).

I'm not even sure if it is a Realtek sanctioned site or if it is 3rd party owned.
