First of all, i am new to this forum so sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I was wondering what i would need to upgrade to help my computer play WoW (World of Warcraft) without using up most of my CPU usage. When i have WoW open it is at about 96%. Right now my computer specs are:

    AMD Athlon 64 3500+
    ASUSTeK Computer INC. A8N-SLI
    4 gigs of DDR memory
    Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT
(If you need anything else ask didn't know what else to put up :p)

I will leave this to Dalo as he is an avid WOW player and also our Hardware Guru :p He should be around today sometime.

Here are the basic requirements for World of Warcraft:

    Hi,

To be honest the only thing that seems to be letting your PC down from playing WoW is the CPU, you really need a dual core, so if you are looking to just get it to run then just upgrade the CPU to a dual core
There were plenty of socket 939 dual cores to choose from

You probably wont have much of a choice more likely a lack of options, most major companies have stopped selling socket 939 CPUs and you may have to look on places like ebay
