I just went to a site and got a full page box that said 'site has installed virus and malware on your computer. Small box said create a user name and password now. report this to microsoft'. and I could not go back, close window, or do anything. It kept on popping up the username password box over and over whatever I clicked. I tried task manager to close it but kept coming back. Finally shut down computer to stop it. Wanted me to download some kind of software to fix problem. Had been to site before but never like this. Difficult site anyway for has tons of ads no matter what you click and always a hard to get rid of ad. Cant get anywhere. Is this some new scam?
Nothing probably has been installed, right???
    Ran scan with malwarebytes.
Almost anything clicked pops up some ad. WOT shows green for site but for search or other things it shows red warnings.
    Site is called pianosheetmusiconline.com

You're not alone. This happens to a good deal of people. Best to shut the computer down and restart.

Are you manually typing in the site or using a bookmark?

Usually DuckDuckGo search in Firefox and desktop shortcut.
What is a recommended free ad blocker for firefox? I just used malwarebytes and deleted the 12 items it found. Dont know of any others right now but havent used any in a long while.
Didnt go to this site for awhile and had ads before but never like this time. Got up a piece of sheet music but forget how I did that. Looked at it and took a screenshot picture JPG.

You might have clicked the incorrect link to the site and it took you to spoofed site.
