    I'll never buy a refurbished drive again. I bought two refurbished WD's from newegg several years ago when the cost of hard drives were astronomical. Both were DOA'a and I had to pay the shipping costs to return them.

    That's odd they are supposed to be refurbished from WD. Last fall I listed them for $19.99 and all 5 are running like champs Cindy. Remember when you bought the Logisys Psus I use and they were all dead and I have used 100's of them without one ever dying.

    You mean to tell me they were DOA and they didn't take them back? I would never buy there again either except that I don't buy there anyway. You know 98% of what I buy is at D&H which is mostly cheaper anyway. When something is bad they smile and take it back and cheerfully give me money or credit...I have only had 1 return in 7+ years although I only started up them again 2 years ago as I was gone getting damaged and dented crap from Newegg for 3 years and fighting restocking fees until I had enough! The other nice thing about D7H is their promos. Twice a year they give you an Amex gift card for $100 if you spend $500. That is 20% off wholesale the way I look at it. Weekly they discount lots of items I get notice on.

    No, newegg took them back but I had to pay to send them back plus a 10% restocking fee because I refused two replacements and demanded a refund..

    ooh a 10% restocking fee? Are you kidding me a restocking fee is for repackaging to sell it and you mean to tell me that is what they are going to do? You should have called right up on that and had that crap taken off that is BS on something that doesn't work. That is another of the reasons I left there Cindy except on loss leaders I never buy from them.
