Hello, I hope you guys can help! I recently upgraded my Gateway M-6862 Laptop from Vista Home Premium to Ultimate. When I did so a number of problems came up including; missing 1 GB of RAM, does not detect wireless card (Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N), does not detect video card (ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600), videos (at least from DVDs) in WMP are choppy, does not detect actual touch pad (it calls it something new). The more I try to fix it the more problems I find. I've tried looking online for drivers and supposedly found one for the wireless card, but it doesn't work. The only thing I can think of for all this happening is that Ultimate changed my laptop to run in 32-bit and before it ran in 64-bit which is what alot of the hardware was configured for. Any help would be appreciated, even simply telling me to go back to Home Premium. Thank you!

Driver problems. You probably won't find any 64bit drivers for your wireless card. Manufacturers only release 64bit drivers for new cards. Not many updated older cards. Ony thing I can suggest is to see if Gateway has 64bit drivers for your laptop. The touvhpad should have updtaed drivers available at the manufacturers site.
