I am curious if there is any value to updating Vista Drivers, on my Desktop PC. ...And if so, where would I find a safe replacement Download? Thanks

    Welcome to CHF John.

Don't update any driver unless you have a specific need to do so.

    Don't fix what isn't broke:)

OK Thank You! ... I keep getting all of these email messages saying I should update my drivers! So I thought they might wear in time!

    No, they won't wear out.
Sometimes, if you are having a particular problem, such as with a video card, updating it will fix an issue.
As Seth said, when you are not having any problems, we never recommend updating driver.

    You're welcome.

Those driver update programs, PC Optimizer programs, etc, are not only scams to try and get money out of you, but often "break" something that wasn't broken to begin with.
