user profile and TS profile

    It may be a silly question but I never really thought about it. What
    is the difference and when do you apply which of them?

    If you log into a Terminal Services box, you should have a TS profile.
    Ideally, not specified in ADUC - but in a group policy that applies to the
    TS box(es).

    If you use roaming profiles on your network (for domain users who log into
    workstations joined to the domain), you should not let someone log into a TS
    box unless they *also* have a TS profile path specified.

    Can both paths point to the same profile?
