hmmm I wonder who gets the building contracts, wonder who will get the oil out the ground to pay for the re-building,

one thing for sure is the people who do the fighting and who get caught up in the middle loose, but I bet some fat (Bleep) sitting behind a desk has already worked out how many millions/billions he can make. and I'll bet he had done that before Bush and Blair declared war.

was it not the US and the UK that sold Iraq there tanks and weapons and built there bunkers and defences in the first place?

well now they need new ones!!

It does seem like a another war that can't be won and I agree a heavy price has been paid while trying to bring peace - peace that seems as elusive as ever.

The United States has sent 8,500 Marines to Helmand province in the last two months. It's the largest wave of a massive buildup of forces that will see the number of U.S. troops in Afghanistan rise from 32,000 at the beginning of this year to 68,000 by year's end.

Obama is now focusing on Afghanistan and Pakistan as the main security threat facing the United States. Although we also have North Korea firing 7 Ballistic (Scud type ) Missiles today and threatening the U.S. mainly the coast of Hawaii. This is going to be a tricky situation!

Iraq is done and over with. The only thing we need to do there is get all of our troops home. It may be a while but it will happen. It was a huge mistake made by the Bush Administration leaving Obama to pick up the pieces.
