Dear Members,

It has been brought to our attention that many members with slower or distant connections have been unable to either properly connect or interact with our forums. Sometimes it is very slow to load and may result in posts being aborted before they reach the board.

We have narrowed it down to the choice of skin used for our overall appearance combined with the alterations made to make it exactly as we would want it to be. Those of you with fast internet connections may not have witnessed any problems at all.

As frustrating as it is for us, we have concluded that our mission is more important than the skin and that we need to make a change. Rather than fall into the same pitfall we have narrowed down the "look" to three choices which we believe will solve the problems. In each case all of the things you would expect us to have will remain even if it is not evident from the samples listed below. For example avatars and personal pictures will remain along with the running "status" commentary on the side bar.

We are now asking our members to help make the final selection. Please make yourself heard in the attached POLL. The voting will end on Saturday, March 13. We will then give the "winner" a full test and, assuming we experience no problems, will make it live shortly thereafter.
