    Need to know two things.

What is the make and model of the motherboard this is currently in the system?
The current motherboard may and or may not support some of the newer AMD chips out there.

What is the make and model of the power supply?
Depending on which graphics card you want to use. Some require a minimal of 600 watts.

That is you Desktop model I need what is written on the Motherboard its self.

Like I stated before that may not have enough power to supply to a newer display card. Over time power supplies degrade that one may not even be supplying 300 watts any more.

Honestly would suggest save you money and get a proper gaming system.
