There is a code, that is simple to install in each skin, for Back To Top, saves all the scrolling back up.
Think maybe we could get it here..

If you need the code I'll get it for you and tell you where it goes..Actually it's just removing one word or two..in the skin database..

While I am not "that" guy. In fact I never go into the skin manager, for the interim computer basics still apply. Hit "Home" to go to the top, "End" for the bottom and page up/down for the rest. VBulletin always had a "top" at the bottom :D we will look tnto it.

I am with Barry in that I use the Home button or just scroll.

But looking, we do have a Back To Top link, located in the very bottom left corner of the page when viewing through the V3 skin (the red one)

Yep it is there, In case you may have forgotten, can you add Active Topics back next to new content? I know it is in the navigation panel but that is only one page.

Yes I see it---Does't stand out all that well. & what if your 1/2 way down a page--then if ya want to use it ya gotta scroll, scroll.
Don't all computeres have 'End & Home' keys? Thats what I use---Pretty simple & fast too.
On my desktop I also have ' Page up & Page down' keys that will scoll a page pretty darn fast.
    Just my 2ยข

It all depends on what you are used to. I do things pretty much as you do Skip and it is fine with me. On Vbulletin I tended to use the "top" button more often than here.

Or use the scroll wheel on your mouse if it has one.

    Just thought I'd add this.

How to Restore Back To Top button

This is missing from many skins. To restore this icon in each post, do the following...

    1) Go to ACP ---> Look & Feel
    2) Click on the skin marked IP.Board
    3) On the left of the main part of the screen the Global Templatessubsection will have automatically opened (or should have) - you canclose this by clicking on Global Templates
    3) Scroll down on the left until you see Topic View. Click on TopicView to open up the sub-menu. Click on topicviewTemplate to open thaton the right.
    4) The topicviewTemplate will now open for you.
    5) Find the following code

    Find

    <li class='top hide'><a href='#top' class='top'title='{$this->lang->words['back_top']}'>{$this->lang->words['back_top']} replace with <li class='top'><.... I beleive it's about 3/4 ways down.. Ron..

I never knew that was there. I know I have found several things hidden. I missed this one. At the right of each post you'll find the back to top button.

Thanks for pointing that one out to me.
