U1. and U3. Memory Cards

    What would you use U1. and U3. Memory Cards for.

    I know they need U1. and U3. Readers but U1. is the same as Class 10.

    So what am I missing?

    As you said, U1 is the same as Class 10. (10 MBPS rate)

    If you’re recording 4K video, you’re going to need the faster U3.

    Well if U1. is the same as Class 10 then why Make it at all?
    Just start with Making U3. or am I missing something?

    Good question. Don't know why they came up with two naming standards.
