[Solved] Trying to install second H/D

Hi
I have a second h/d I want to install via usb on my laptop running win 8.1 . I have tried to format this drive ,it refuses , have tried Computer management to shrink volume and delete volume , neither work .
The h/d shows
3 partitions
1 - has 1mb unallocated
2 - has 100mb Raw healthy (active primary partition )
3 - has 297.99gb Raw healthy ( primary partition )

How do I clear the h/d and set it up please .

In Disk management you will only be able to format the 297 Gb Raw Healthy Partition first of all as the others are boot manager partitions.
It is easier to use partitioning software than Windows to do all this and there is a fine free program from EaseUs I would recommend.
